Merida's culture is a distinctive amalgamation of traditions passed down for millennia, by the ancient Maya civilization.

The first thing that comes to mind when strolling along these colonial streets is an invitation of color and vibrancy.
With an abundance of handcrafted shops, and fancy boutique hotels oriented along colorful facades, displayed in hot pink,
lime green and bright yellows.
With a plethora of water filled limestone reservoirs, stepped pyramids and dazzling beaches with turquoise waters just a stone's throw away.
